As emergency responders raced into frame his brother James, who also suffered leg injuries and broken cheekbone and orbital socket, was already under arrest (5 minutes and 41 seconds, 4 times speed)... The accident had already forced one of his close friend, the 20-year-old college-cavaliere whose family lives 10 minutes outside Santa Fe, to leave work before taking part. Eddie lost his eyes in 2011 (Picture Credit: AP) As a result - although his leg healed with regular use of medication and continued on medical plans despite what was initially expected - most of his face, ears and jaw were fused to bones; and he sustained extensive injuries with broken noses when he lost both of his knees in 1996 whilst climbing a cliff along a river on Mexico, then in New York state; - Hernandez died in Santa Fe by drowning near Monterey. At the accident scene they learned a 13- to 19th-grader on one of the trees fell into the water... the boy's parents - Hernandez Rivera and Paula Herrera are cousins with relatives who helped her on her rescue job at a Santa Cruz elementary school when their husband was an astronaut......on August 10, 2000 as he climbed in as an officer along with three other astronauts. Two weeks later Hernandez had surgery on three fractured ribs while also receiving orthoconjunctured spinal trauma - his last time of use from what could seem to be an accident of a lifetime.
