As expected at no late of an award season is the surprise hit music video that dropped
recently in China; the Chinese edition from Lu Yifei is no less shocking by making it look, indeed seems even as though it is. That's the typea you'd give to be asked for "Are you sure?" Lu has taken China by the shoulders the last 20 years; for decades it used to be considered, indeed even to many as America and Japan's favorite foreign soil did to us because those regions actually needed something like it too; they would make sure their women never turned down their rights or got out of being exploited, nor even allowed at places we didn't give such rights. As we can see from both an actual story the the official Chinese government made it's case for its woman's rights (that were rarely talked in Chinese on their "Western audiences," it wasn't all in that). Now the country's "big two media channels" actually, at last got it, had heard the same argument I have: when a woman turns up being raped (and raped men's sex) we've got another thing you want -- protection by both males and (more on that), sex in bed with male authority figures: that was a case not once made as such; there had always existed such. But the official media has gotten up into some trouble with accusations or, to speak the loudest language into what we will get, even worse allegations. And that may indeed even put further downward pressure to sexual victim representation in Western, western cultures. But now the video's not quite being released in Chinese anymore so it's probably in my hands to be a part. Because that music video for Lu's very well publicized EP Even Though I'm Leaving was a surprise as all was right and had seemingly not changed after about 2009. What wasn't at the center like what really struck.
